I adore burgundy and copper so this is such a dream polish for me. The scatter holo sparkles beautifully in the sun and it was a joy to wear and apply. The Picture Polish formula is always spot on!

Nail Mail Monday

Hello!

I've got some more nail mail to show you today.

My first mail came from Nail Polish Direct which is a UK based stockist of heaps and heaps of mainstream brands for really good prices and free shipping to the UK. I needed some more OPI Nail Envy which I use as my base coat and the two Color Club polishes were a step on my journey to a perfect white polish. Christine from simplynailogical (If you don't follow her yet go check her out! Her nails are amazing, full of holo and she's super funny!) recommended Color Club 'French Tip' as her best one coat white polish so I thought I'd give it a try. It comes with a thin brush so I brought the other Color Club for the wider brush.

From Left to Right is Color Club 'French Tip' 1 Coat! and 'Blank Canvas' 3 Coats.

I'm looking forward to tying this out in a full mani. I'll let you know the results!

These are my naked nails with OPI Nail Envy on top. It really is magical for nails!

I also received my first order from Harlow & Co. this week. They are a Canadian stockist of lots of indie brands and offer free international delivery when you spend over a certain amount! I picked up these beauties at a great price.

From Left to Right is KBShimmer 'Garnet' and 'Yule Worthy', Polished for Days 'Paris', Girly Bits 'The Shaft' and Colors by Llarowe 'March to a Different Beat'.

I was very autumnal with this colour choice but I just couldn't help it. Burgundy and Copper and brown are my weakness at the moment! And so much sparkle!

I also picked up these beautiful Delush Polish Stamping plates. DP01, 02 and 03.

Aren't the images beautiful! I can't wait to try these.

I also received my Color4nails order containing the new Femme Fatale Cosmetics store exclusive and a bottle of my trusty HK Girl Top Coat.

From Left to Right is Femme Fatale Cosmetics 'Sweet Fir You' and HK Girl Top Coat

Anything you like the look of? Have you got any colours you just can't resist? Let me know!

Thanks for visiting,

Have a lovely day,

Femme Fatale Cosmetics 'A Fortune Teller's Charm' Swatch & Review

Hello!

Today I have the beautiful Femme Fatale Cosmetics 'A Fortune Teller's Charm' from the Afterlight Gala Collection to show you.

It's a beautiful turquoise blue to sandy gold thermal polish with copper shimmer and copper hex glitter. This polish looks like a tropical island beach with the sea and sand! This was three coats and HK Girl Top Coat though you could get away with two coats on shorter nails.

Femme Fatale Cosmetics Haul - Enchanted Fables Collection & More

Hello!

Today I have a super exciting haul for you! This week I received my much anticipated Femme Fatale Cosmetics haul filled with their new collection and lots of other goodies. Let's drool over the pretties!

First of all look at the PACKAGING!! I must admit I don't keep my polish boxes as I don't have the room to spare but that font is so cute. I love the attention to detail that Femme Fatale have and each Enchanted Fable having their own font is such a lovely touch! Luckily the labels on the bottles are the same so I can still appreciate it without keeping the boxes. And the LE's always have a black box instead of a white one as well which again makes it extra special!

Before we get into the Enchanted Fables I also brought a couple of backups of the Snow White collection which had it's last pre-order at the same time. Sophie also surprised us with a 'Bodice Lace Version 2' after the first version was discontinued! It's the same apart from a different base colour. I don't have the first version so was really pleased that I grabbed this!

From Left to Right is Art of Witchcraft, Bodice Lace V2, Mirror Mirror on the Wall, Weed in her Heart and the COTM Fairyduster

The Enchanted Fables Collection

As soon as Sophie announced this 22 duochrome collection I was super excited and I still am! This finish is my favourite from Femme Fatale and these polishes leave me lost for words. They are breathtaking! I love the theme as well! Let's take a look!

From Left to Right is Alice, Ariel, Aurora (Thermal), Belle and Cinderella

From Left to Right is Eilonwy, Eliza (Thermal), Emeralda, Euna (Thermal) and Evil Queen.

Unfortunately due to a pigment change Eliza is discontinued but I was lucky enough to get one from the first batch. Euna is the replacement that will go to stockists. Evil Queen was a LE polish that was included if you purchased the whole set from Femme Fatale. The holo sparkle on this is amazing in the sun!

From Left to Right is Faline, Jasmine (Thermal), Kida (Thermal), Megara (Thermal) and Merida

From Left to Right is Nala, Perdita, Rapunzel, Red Riding Hood (Thermal) and Rose Red

From Left to Right is 'Snow White' (Thermal), 'Thumbelina', 'Tiger Lily' and 'Tinker Bell'

Aren't they all just beautiful! I can't wait to start using these!

I also brought these two 'Emily de Molly' Stamping plates to add to my collection. The designs are a bit small for my talons but I can always double stamp or use them when my nails are shorter. The designs are always so beautiful.

I also delved further into the Femme Fatale Cosmetics Eye shadows range. I brought the 12 mini sizes and I was also kindly sent some samples to try out!

From Left to Right, Top to Bottom is Alpine Skies, Arcane Storm, Candied Apple, Crystal Guardian V2, Golem, The Masquerade, Moonglow, Nexus V2, Puzzle, Silver Apple, Star at Rest and Vampire Breath.

I wore Nexus yesterday and it's beautiful. I'm still using the Femme Fatale Cosmetics Shadow Magic Primer and it's working really well.

These macros of the above shadows are from the Femme Fatale Cosmetics site. Aren't they so pretty!
The Enchanted Fables Collection - Thermals

I thought I'd try and show you the thermal change on the swatch sticks. It actually worked!

From Left to Right is 'Aurora', 'Eliza', 'Euna', Jasmine', 'Kida', 'Megara'. 'Red Riding Hood' and 'Snow White'

This was a sort of a Transition as the water evaporated.

Phew! I hope you enjoyed this Haul. I know I did and will do for a long time. Everything is gorgeous.

All the swatches are three coats with top coat but the opacity of the polishes was great and you could probably use two coats. The finish without top coat is a silky satin matte finish for the duochromes which is beautiful but I added top coat to protect my swatches.

I also wanted to add how quickly I received these and how well packaged they always are. I really appreciate it when nail polish sellers take the time to protect the polish as breakages in transit are the worst thing ever!!

Please let me know if you'd like any comparisons and if there is anything you'd like to see in a full mani first!

I'd pick a favourite but how can you?!

The Enchanted Fables collection will be coming to stockists in the near future with the exception of Eliza and Evil Queen. What will you be picking up? Don't forget it's LE so don't wait!

Thanks for visiting,

Have a lovely day,

Helen xx
