Femme Fatale 'Belle' & 'An Immortal Soul' Beauty & the Beast Nails

Hello!

Today I've got some nails I did to celebrate the release of the new Beauty & the Beast film to show you.

I used Femme Fatale 'Belle' (as this polish was made for this design) from the Enchanted Fables collection. It's a gorgeous tan brown polish with heaps of gold shimmer. I paired it with an accent nail of Femme Fatale 'An Immortal Soul' from The Little Mermaid collection. This is a stunning gold glitter with all manner of gold glitter & shimmer with a hint of copper. I used three easy coats for both polishes.

I couldn't have a Beauty & the Beast mani without some roses! I used the Color Club 'Roses' stamping plate with Color Alike 'Red Dragon' stamping polish and my Fab Ur Nails Jumbo Stamper. No problems with pick up etc... I topped it all off with a coat of HK Girl.

I love these nails and I loved the film as well!

Everything I used for these nails is available on Rainbow Connection UK right now!

'Overwatch' Tracer inspired Nail Art

Hello!

Today I've got some inspired nail art to show you.

'Overwatch' is a first person shooter game by Blizzard that lets you play colourful characters and run around shooting stuff. Much fun! I've been super addicted to it for the last few months and Blizzard run events for specific times of the year like Christmas and Halloween etc... This year they did a Chinese new year event and released lots of new in game items for characters to wear and say etc... These nails were inspired by this gorgeous skin they created for a character called Tracer.

It's matte black with metallic roses on.

For these nails I used a base of Models Own 'Black Swirl'. This a a metallic matte black polish and was 2 super easy coats. Very fast drying as well!

For the stamping I used the Color Club Rose Stamping Plate, Color Alike 'Cherry Lollipop' stamping polish and my Fab Ur Nails Jumbo Stamper. I was a little worried about the plate but it worked perfectly!

I loved these nails. Just so pretty and they came out just how I envisioned them.

The Walking Dead Season 7 Nails with Delush Polish 'Poisoned Vine'

Hello!

So today is the day. After a very very very long wait of wondering and discussing, the Season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead is nearly upon us! I've had to avoid all social media and news websites today to avoid spoilers from the US airing yesterday. I'm relieved the premiere is here but so scared and sad that we're going to loose someone. I really must get better at detaching myself from fictional characters (like that's ever going to happen!).

Obviously I had to do some Nails befitting for The Walking Dead's return! I really love these!

I used heaps of stuff for these. Read on for the details!

So first of all I used the stunning 'Poisoned Vine' by Delush Polish as my base. This gorgeous blackened red needed just two coats. It dried super fast and had a great formula that was very self levelling. (Excellent for the pre The Walking Dead premiere excitement shakes!) It's such a beautiful vampy polish that I was sad to be covering it with stamping.

For my walker hand prints on my thumb I used my Color Club 'Splatter' stamping plate and stamped with Color Alike 'Kind of White' Stamping Polish and my Fab Ur Nails Jumbo Stamper. I know a lot of people have had trouble with the new Color Club plates. I had hoped to use my clear stamper with this design but it just wouldn't pick the image up. The Jumbo Stamper worked perfectly though.

For my Lucille leftovers on my pointer finger I used all the same tools as my thumb and then sponged on some blood stains with a make up sponge and Color Alike Stamping polish 'Red Dragon'.

For my middle finger I used my Creative Shop No.35 stamping plate and stamped with Color Alike 'Kind of White' Stamping Polish and my Fab Ur Nails Clear Stamper. I was super impressed with this plate as the image is very detailed but everything worked great.

For Lucille on my ring finger I used my Sugar Bubbles 001 stamping plate and stamped with Color Alike 'Silver King' Stamping Polish and my Fab Ur Nails Jumbo Stamper. I then sponged on some blood stains with a make up sponge and Color Alike Stamping polish 'Red Dragon'.

For my Walker arms on my little finger I used my Uber Chic 'Zombie Love' stamping plate and stamped with Color Alike 'Kind of White' Stamping Polish and my Fab Ur Nails Jumbo Stamper.

I used the latex barrier Zap from Rainbow Connection UK to help with clean up.

This was my first time using a lot of these products. I wanted to mention the Color Alike 'Kind of White' stamping polish specifically. I knew I was playing with stamping fire using a white over a dark red base as I figured as soon as I applied my HK Girl top coat everything would get a bit smudged and the stamping lines wouldn't be as crisp. I braced myself but nothing of the sort occurred. There was no smudging whatsoever! Stamping goals achieved! Applause for Color Alike!

I really enjoyed doing some proper nail art for these and think I will definitely try to do more stamping than I have been. I think its just finding the time and energy at the moment.

I'm so so so excited for tonight! I think Negan is going to bring us a lot of heartache though! I hope you love these nails as much as I do! Apart from the UberChic plate this is all available from Rainbow Connection UK!

It's nearly time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nail Mail Monday Part 1

Hello!

I've finally got around to organising my photos this weekend so hopefully I'll be back posting on a regular basis. I've got my nail mail from last week to show you today.

I took a trip to the Models Own Bottleshop last weekend to pick up the two new collections. The 'Hypergel Soft Pop Collection' & the new 'Polish for Tans Collection'. I've loved the last two 'Polish for Tans' collections and Models Own have made some more amazing bright polishes for summer. Unfortunately one of the 'Polish for Tans' was out of stock so I'll have to pick that up next time!

From Left to Right is Models Own Soft Pop Hypergels 'Lemon Popsicle', 'Cosy Posy', 'Sugar Rush', 'Lilac Flush' & 'Candyfloss', and the Polish for Tans 'Beach Fire', 'Boat Party', 'Island Hop' & 'Barrier Reef'.

I also finally received my Emily de Molly polishes last week. I pre-ordered the Hella Holo Customs exclusives along with a few others from the new collection. They are stunning!

From Left to Right is Emily de Molly HHC Exclusives 'Desert Rose', 'Four Weddings & A Manicure' & 'Iridescent Skies' and 'Crystal Cavern', 'Damaged Bills' & 'Lunar Haze'.

I also did some Ebay browsing and picked up a few Essie polishes to try out. I don't have any Essie polishes in my collection so am looking forward to trying these out in the Autumn.

From Left to Right is Essie 'Decadent Diva', 'Dive Bar' & 'Sable Collar'

I also had the Uber Chic Collection 9 stamping plates arrive. I fell in love with the floral designs in this collection and am looking forward to trying them out.

More stamping plates arrived this week from Color4Nails. I picked up some Color Club Stamping Plates that I've been after for a while. I'm looking forward to creating some marble nails without any water alcohol spray dip hassle. I love the packaging as well!

Anything you like the look of here?
