ILNP 'Cherry Luxe' & 'Lucky One' Festive Nails featuring Picture Polish 'Lakodom' & Mo You London Stamping

Hello!

Happy New Years Eve! I'm back with the last of my festive nails to show you today. For this mani I used two of the new precious metals from the ILNP Holiday 2015 collection. I adore this polish finish!
Natural lighting
For my pinkie, middle finger and thumb I alternated ILNP 'Cherry Luxe' and ILNP 'Lucky One'. I love the red and green shade of these for Christmas time! This was two super easy coats. They are both precious metals so have scatter holo AND silver flakies. So sparkly and beautiful!

Natural Light
For my pointer and ring fingers I used Picture Polish 'Lakodom' as my base and reverse stamped the holly leaves. I used Mo You London 'Festive Plate 03' for the holly design and filled the design in with ILNP 'Cherry Luxe' and 'Lucky One'. I used Konad black stamping polish and my Fab Ur Nails Stamper. I topped it all off with HK Girl top coat.

I love the precious metals finish by ILNP. What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for visiting,

Have a lovely day and a Happy New Year!

ILNP 'Mona Lisa' featuring Picture Polish 'Lakodom' & Uber Chic 'Christmas 01' Stamping Plate

Hello!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I've got a couple more Christmas manis to show you before the year is out! Today's features the stunning ILNP 'Mona Lisa' with some festive stamping.

Indoor Lighting - With Flash
ILNP 'Mona Lisa' is from the ILNP Fall 2015 Collection and is an Ultra holo. It's a gorgeous mocha brown with a beautiful holo effect. So pretty and really wearable! I used three easy coats. The formula is excellent, the polish goes exactly were you want it. Love this shade!

For my middle finger I used Picture Polish 'Lakodom' as a base. It's a grey leaning white with a beautiful scatter holo. I only needed three coats for opacity which is always good for these kinds of colours.

I used my Uber Chic 'Christmas 01' plate for the stamping along with BK 'Matte White' polish from the born pretty store to stamp with and my Fab Ur Nails Stamper.

For my middle finger I reverse stamped the gingerbread men. I went 'old school' and picked the design up on my stamper head, let it dry, filled in the gingerbread men with ILNP 'Mona Lisa', let it dry, and then put a clear top coat over the top, let it dry, before peeling it off and placing it onto my nail like a decal. I was super happy wit how these turned out as my past reverse stamping has been a bit hit and miss! I sealed this and everything else with HK Girl top coat.

I really love the design on my thumb and ring finger from the Uber Chic plate. I can see this being something I'll use every Christmas.

More Snowflake Nails! Starrily 'Ultima' and Uber Chic 'Christmas 01' Stamping Plate

Hello!

Today I have MORE Snowflakes to show you, This time with Starrily 'Ultima'.

Indoor Lighting with Flash
Indoor Lighting with Flash
Aren't they just the prettiest spakliest holo thing you've ever seen! I love Starrily glitter polishes, they really are so sparkly. 'Ultima' is definitely my favourite silver glitter polish in my collection and I always find it's the one I reach for when I'm after some holo and sparkle. This was three easy coats. You could get away with two but I wanted more holo!

Indoor Lighting with Flash
Natural Light
I used my new Uber Chic 'Christmas 01' Plate to stamp with. It has a really useful reverse snowflake design so when you stamp it leaves the snowflake outline and the underneath polish shows through as the snowflakes. Perfect! I cannot tell you how long I've been wanting to do this mani but never had a silver holo polish that sparkles enough AND stamps well. Now I don't need one! I used Konad Black Stamping Polish and my Fab Ur Nails Stamper. I used HK Girl top coat to make it glossy.

Outdoor Lighting - Shade
I love these nails. They are so super sparkly. If like me you love some holo I really recommend Starrily glitters. The formula is fantastic, they wear really well and look at that holo goodness!

Snowflake Nails featuring Cirque Colors 'Halcyon'

Hello!

Today I have one of the most beautiful polishes I own to date to show you. As many of you will know I have a big weakness for rose gold. So when I first laid eyes on Cirque Colors 'Halcyon' I knew I had to have it. It's a beautiful rose gold foil with perfect formula and coverage. For my accent nails I used just two coats. As it's winter (and during this time I become obsessed with snowflake manis!) I decided to test out it's stamping abilities as well with some snowflake stamping designs. It's such a perfect polish for Christmas time!

Daylight
For my white base I used Fancy Gloss 'Snow Queen'. This was two coats. It was my first time using it and although it was super good for coverage for a white creme it was a little on the thick side so I may add some thinner in the future. I'm not super neat when it comes to doing my nails so much cleaning was required as the formula was a bit tricky! Still a fantastic white creme for a base though as the opacity is excellent.

Daylight
Indoor Lighting with Flash
For the stamping I used a mixture of designs from MoYou London 'Festive 03' which is a plate dedicated to snowflakes (LOVE!) and Hehe Stamping Plate 'Fairytale 003' from their latest fairytale collection. The Hehe snowflake designs are so beautiful and elegant on this plate. I used my Fab Ur Nails Stamper and 'Halcyon' to stamp with. It stamped very well considering it's a foil.

I also topped the whole design off with ILNP 'My Private Rainbow (X)' from their latest Winter collection. I can see myself using it for every mani I do now! It's so pretty and adds a beautiful subtle sparkle that really topped the mani off. I also topped it all off with HK Girl Top Coat.

Daylight
I love love love these nails. The Snowflakes were super hard to photograph but take my word for it that they were super pretty!

I got my Cirque Colors 'Halcyon' from Rainbow Connection UK. It's Limited Edition so be speedy if you want to get this gorgeous polish. I may have to get a back up bottle!

Nail Mail Monday Featuring 'Foxy Paws Polish'

Hello!

I've got another Nail Mail Monday for you today. Thanks to Christmas postage craziness I had a fairly quiet nail mail week but this made the parcel I did get extra special.

Daylight
This week I have my picks from the Foxy Paws Polish Black Friday Sale. For those who don't know, Foxy Paws Polish is a 5 Free and Cruelty Free indie polish based in Denmark run by the lovely Charlotte. All her polishes have a story or theme and 10% of all sales goes to charity. Onto the pretties!
Daylight
From Left to Right are Foxy Paws Polish 'Accidental Boob Graze', 'Mine's a little bigger than yours' and 'Black hole sun'.

Indoor Lighting with Flash
The first two polishes are from 'The Holiday' collection which is based on the Christmas rom-com film of the same name. 'Accidental Boob Graze' is a gorgeous sparkly teal turquoise holo and 'Mine's a little bigger than yours' is a beautiful grey creme with copper hex glitter. (Must have all the copper!) The Black holo is a special polish Charlotte created for Black Friday. I'm excited to try these in a full mani. From the swatches the formula seems easy to use, with good opacity and dries fairly quickly.

You can find Foxy Paws Polish on their website.

Let me know what you think in the comments!

Epic Nail Mail Monday!

Hello!

So today I have something a little different for you. I've been thinking for a while about how I can show you guys more of the beautiful polishes I have without quitting my job to just paint my nails all day! Those that follow me on Instagram may have noticed I've been a busy swatch sticking bee lately. I don't know why it's something I haven't done sooner but I'm making up for it now! I'm working through my helmers at the moment but thought this would be a good way to show off all the new polishes I get.

Seen as on Black Friday some accidental on purpose purchasing occurred I thought now would be a good time to start this blog feature as I have lots of pretties on the way!

My first parcel to arrive was from the nail polish heaven that is Rainbow Connection UK.

From Left to Right is Cirque Colors 'Halcyon', Cirque Colors 'Reflektor', Fancy Gloss 'Midnight Moon', and Colors by llarowe 'Shroom with a View'.

All my swatch sticks are 3 coats plus top coat. Really none of these would need 3 costs for full coverage. 2 at most! I think 'Halcyon' is my favourite but I'm a sucker for rose gold.

The next of my many parcels to arrive was from ILNP! I pre-ordered these and have been so impatient for them to get here since the first swatches started surfacing.

I love the tissue paper these come in.

Still in their boxes. I love the little heart windows these have! I got the Holiday Collection and my picks from the Winter Collection.

From Left to Right ILNP Holiday Collection - Ferris Wheel, Cherry Luxe, Empire, Limelight, Lucky One, Time in a Bottle and XO.

From Left to Right ILNP - Juliette, Sweater Weather, Ski Lodge and My Private Rainbow (X).

The ILNP Precious Metals are one of my favourite nail polish finishes ever! Love love love!

Soon after these I got some Stamping bits from She Sells SeaShells.

I love the North Pole Air Mail Sticker and the Candy Cane, such nice touches! I got the Uber Chic Christmas 01 plate and a cute Qgirl plate mainly for the super cute rubber ducks design!

And last but not least my Models Own parcel arrived. 50% off so I couldn't say no!

First up is the new Chromes. These are perfect for stamping!

That Pearl bottle is beautiful!

Left to Right Models Own - Chrome Turquoise, Chrome Copper, Chrome Red, Chrome Pearl and Chrome Grey.

I also got the Twilight Hypergel Collection. Models own is definitely my go to mainstream brand for cremes.

Left to Right Models Own Hypergel - Jet Black, Loganberry, Cashmere Rose, Heather, Sweet Sherry, Hot Chocolate, Grey Storm, Everyday Grey, Lunar Grey, Teal, Deep Sea, Robin Red and Marsala.

I love all my new polishes! I hope you guys liked this post. Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
