Autumn Nail Art

Hello!

Today I've got these Autumnal Nails to show you.

I used Avon 'Street Beige' as my base for this nail art. This was two easy coats. This is my favourite beige polish, I really like the hint of grey in it and it's part of the Avon speedy dry range so it also dries really quickly. I think this is discontinued now but is probably available through Ebay etc...

I created the design by creating nail decals. I started by stamping the design from my Uber Chic 9-01 plate onto some clear polish on my Uber Mat. I used my black Konad stamping polish and my Fab Ur Nails Jumbo stamper.

I used a large assortment of Barry M and Models Own cremes to fill in the circles. A lot of them were from the Barry M Gelly Autumn/Winter 2014 release and the Models Own Twilight Hypergel Collection. I used my Models Own Hypergel Top Coat over the top of the design once it had dried to then create the decal. I find this top coat makes strong but flexible decals which makes it easier when applying to the nail. I also used this polish as my base on the Uber Mat,

I applied the decals and then cleaned any overhang up and then topped with HK Girl Top Coat. I really love these nails and am looking forward to the colder months of big jumpers and Christmas polishes!

What do you think? Let me know in the comments.

Illyrian Polish 'Fireflies' Swatch & Review

Hello!

Today I have the stunning Illyrian Polish 'Fireflies' to show you.

'Fireflies' is a stunning glitter topper full of iridescent glitters that shift from red, orange, green. blue, purple and pink! I paired it with Models Own 'Utopia' which is a beautiful griege nude polish. This was just two coats topped with one coat of 'Fireflies'. I topped it off with HK Girl Top Coat.

This polish is so so so beautiful. It's like having fireflies and fairies on your nails. I really feel like my pictures did it no justice at all. I'm going to try and put a video up on my Instagram to see if that helps at all. I couldn't stop staring at these!

I got my bottle from Rainbow Connection UK who should be restocking this beauty in the next couple of weeks. This polish really is insane and I can't wait to try it over different bases or even on it's own!

Emily de Molly 'Pending Perfection' Swatch & Review

Hello!

Today I have an absolute stunner from Emily de Molly to show you.

'Pending Perfection' was part of the Emily de Molly 4 year anniversary trio but is now also available on it's own due to popular demand. And I can see why everyone (including me) wanted to get their hands on this beauty!

'Pending Perfection' is a beautiful bright mint creme polish with red to gold duochrome shimmer. I love how prominent the shimmer is, The formula was great, just be careful when going over a spot as it tended to drag a little, thin coats are best. This was two coats and dried really quickly!

I've accented this mani with some stamping. I've not had a lot of stamping mojo lately but hopefully I'll get it back soon! I used my Uber Chic Beauty 9-02 plate for the super pretty floral design. I stamped with Color Alike 'Mars' Stamping polish and my Fab Ur Nails Jumbo Stamper. 'Mars' really complimented the shimmer in 'Pending Perfection'. Everything worked really well. No stamping struggles here! All topped off with HK Girl top coat.

This really is such a beautiful polish. I love how bright it is and the shimmer is perfect.

The Walking Dead Season 7 Nails with Delush Polish 'Poisoned Vine'

Hello!

So today is the day. After a very very very long wait of wondering and discussing, the Season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead is nearly upon us! I've had to avoid all social media and news websites today to avoid spoilers from the US airing yesterday. I'm relieved the premiere is here but so scared and sad that we're going to loose someone. I really must get better at detaching myself from fictional characters (like that's ever going to happen!).

Obviously I had to do some Nails befitting for The Walking Dead's return! I really love these!

I used heaps of stuff for these. Read on for the details!

So first of all I used the stunning 'Poisoned Vine' by Delush Polish as my base. This gorgeous blackened red needed just two coats. It dried super fast and had a great formula that was very self levelling. (Excellent for the pre The Walking Dead premiere excitement shakes!) It's such a beautiful vampy polish that I was sad to be covering it with stamping.

For my walker hand prints on my thumb I used my Color Club 'Splatter' stamping plate and stamped with Color Alike 'Kind of White' Stamping Polish and my Fab Ur Nails Jumbo Stamper. I know a lot of people have had trouble with the new Color Club plates. I had hoped to use my clear stamper with this design but it just wouldn't pick the image up. The Jumbo Stamper worked perfectly though.

For my Lucille leftovers on my pointer finger I used all the same tools as my thumb and then sponged on some blood stains with a make up sponge and Color Alike Stamping polish 'Red Dragon'.

For my middle finger I used my Creative Shop No.35 stamping plate and stamped with Color Alike 'Kind of White' Stamping Polish and my Fab Ur Nails Clear Stamper. I was super impressed with this plate as the image is very detailed but everything worked great.

For Lucille on my ring finger I used my Sugar Bubbles 001 stamping plate and stamped with Color Alike 'Silver King' Stamping Polish and my Fab Ur Nails Jumbo Stamper. I then sponged on some blood stains with a make up sponge and Color Alike Stamping polish 'Red Dragon'.

For my Walker arms on my little finger I used my Uber Chic 'Zombie Love' stamping plate and stamped with Color Alike 'Kind of White' Stamping Polish and my Fab Ur Nails Jumbo Stamper.

I used the latex barrier Zap from Rainbow Connection UK to help with clean up.

This was my first time using a lot of these products. I wanted to mention the Color Alike 'Kind of White' stamping polish specifically. I knew I was playing with stamping fire using a white over a dark red base as I figured as soon as I applied my HK Girl top coat everything would get a bit smudged and the stamping lines wouldn't be as crisp. I braced myself but nothing of the sort occurred. There was no smudging whatsoever! Stamping goals achieved! Applause for Color Alike!

I really enjoyed doing some proper nail art for these and think I will definitely try to do more stamping than I have been. I think its just finding the time and energy at the moment.

I'm so so so excited for tonight! I think Negan is going to bring us a lot of heartache though! I hope you love these nails as much as I do! Apart from the UberChic plate this is all available from Rainbow Connection UK!

It's nearly time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
